KUMBAKONAM KADAPA

– Pressure cook 1/2 cup moong dal and 2 potatoes, smash them and keep
separately
– Grind coconut, green chillies, cashews and fennel seeds to a fine paste
– Add oil in a pan and saute cinnamon, cloves, cumin seeds, chopped onion,
green chilly and curry leaves
– Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a few mins
– Once everything is cooked, add water, salt, cooked dal, potato and cook
for 2 mins
– Now add the grounded coconut paste and cook for 5 mins and add coriander
leaves
